*FULL* The John Sieger Combo with Special Guest Robin Pluer!
We're excited to finally announce our May show for you! April was too busy around here, so we skipped it.
The Combo is back and this time, they're bringing Robin Pluer!
With decades of gigs, sessions and roadwork, the grown men in the John Sieger Combo have it down. They are two brothers who share the same voice — songwriter, guitarist and leader John Sieger and bassman/ high harmony maven Mike Sieger — double threat keyboard tickler/tenor sax wailer Bob Jennings and sturdy, long haul drummer Bob Schneider, this band can be tight and loose at the same time.
Sieger’s songs have won praise from both critics and fans, and over twenty artists put them on their records — there must be something in them! If you bump into any of them, ask Dwight Yoakam, Jerry Harrison, The BoDeans, Robbie Fulks, Flaco Jimenez and they’ll tell you the same.
The Combo was at the core of two fine Milwaukee Bands, The R&B Cadets and Semi-Twang. The Cadets cut an album for the legendary Twintone records and Semi-Twang made their debut on 1988’s highly regarded Salty Tears for Warner Bros.. The songs John wrote for both bands remain on the set list, along with some newer grooves, and a bunch of them will be included on their upcoming record. So sit back — or get up and dance — The John Sieger Combo has the goods and will send you home humming!
This show will sell out so do yourself a favor and don't wait on it! 😃
